Other Memory works with the folder you select in Files. If access is lost after a move, restore, or system change, choose the Zettelkasten root folder again.

Three common places to look.
Let iCloud finish
If files are still being delivered by iCloud Drive, keep the device online and allow preparation to finish before searching or editing the vault.
Enter a source manually
Bibliographic lookup needs an internet connection and a recognised identifier. When a provider has no matching record, the source fields remain editable.
